ERROR 404: Gender Not Found (a non-binary dance) is an auto-ethnographic research-based solo dance performance. In this thesis performance, Master of Fine Arts Candidate Kendra Wiley embodies both lighting designer and performer by using a combination of movement tracking technology and remote lighting control. The performance emphasizes the intentional presence of a non-binary dancing body and attempts to create a non-binary narrative anyone can relate to.
